Initial

Initial is a fashion brand founded in 2000. Hong Kong’s very own Initial brings a unique convergence of art and lifestyle together in their design.
Today, Initial has 11 stores in Hong Kong.
Yesterday my boyfriend and I visited the store on Cameron road, TST.
First we walked trough a very charming restaurant/Café that is connected to the store. Old fashion tree tables with old wine bottles are placed around in the inspiring room and matching the rest of the old unique style in the building.
NB. They do not serve wine or alcohol but the menu card has a lot of other delicious drinks and coffees.
You walk up a little staircase and then you are in the store. Old fashion clothes, shoes and accessories will meet your eye. You get the feeling of walking in your own fairytale and it’s differently not your ordinary brand but also a kind of lifestyle you get inspired by when you visit the fabulous store. Unlike other local brands, Initial never used any supermodels or celebrity endorsements; instead the Japanese-influenced brand began as a tiny store in the suburbs and rapidly expanded within 7 years.
The staff was very kind and showed me their entire hats collection from England which I was very interested in. My boyfriend knows all about my passion for hats and bought me the trendiest hat in the store.
